When I look back, the decision to start Catapult HR Services wasn’t a neat, strategic plan — it came from a moment of uncertainty.

After years in HR, helping businesses navigate change, build teams, and stay compliant, I suddenly found myself on the other side of the table — part of a restructure, facing redundancy, and wondering what comes next?

At first, I did what so many of us do. I applied for new roles, sent CVs, went through interviews, and tried to fit back into the system I’d supported for so long. But I quickly realised how tough the job market can be for experienced professionals, especially once you’re labelled as “older.”

That’s when it clicked.
If the doors weren’t opening, maybe it was time to build my own.

The idea behind Catapult HR Services
I knew there were countless small businesses and start-ups out there trying to juggle growth, people, and compliance without an in-house HR team. I’d seen first-hand how overwhelming it can feel — managing contracts, policies, payroll, performance, and legal changes, often all at once.

So I decided to create something practical, flexible, and grounded in real experience — an HR consultancy designed to launch and support businesses safely and sustainably.

That’s where Catapult HR Services was born: a way to help companies stay compliant, confident, and people-focused, without the corporate fluff or heavy costs.

What makes my approach different
Catapult HR is built on four values that have shaped both my career and my life: Kindness, honesty, accountability, and personal growth.

They’re not just words on a page. They guide how I work with every client — whether that’s running a compliance health check, mediating a workplace issue, or setting up HR systems for the first time.
